Golden’s Responsible AI Policy

Scope & Applicability

We all coexist in a world with AI — at Golden, our role is to help you embrace its power when you’re ready and realize your personal and professional missions without ever compromising trust. 

“AI” or “Artificial Intelligence” refers to computational systems that generate predictions, recommendations, or content based on input data. The purpose of this document is to share our high-level approach to AI and to help you and your organizations plan how and where to use it across all Golden Products, Services, and Features that incorporate or interact with artificial intelligence technologies. Separately, Golden maintains internal Culture, Policies, and Compliance Procedures (such as the EU AI Act and NIST AI RMF) specific to how and where we use AI with human oversight. In practice, we adhere to defined Terms per your Agreements with us. Broadly, please refer to our Privacy Policy for guidance on how we protect your information, our Terms of Service regarding your usage of our technology, and, individually, to your Service Agreement and/or Data Privacy Agreement for applicable Terms defining your relationship with us. This is a fast-moving environment, and we expressly reserve the right to update this Policy at any time to maintain its integrity. 

At its best, Artificial Intelligence enhances, expedites, and extends your efforts. When it’s misdirected, it can potentially compound errors (“hallucinate”), undo work, and subject people to unfair bias or even personal harm. Please do your own research. Every situation is different, but some principles are universal. Just as Golden does, you should also understand and comply with all applicable regulations and security best practices. Appropriate measures can enable you to confidently innovate and appreciate the extraordinary benefits of this transformative technology. 

AI Features & Controls

Here’s what you need to know about AI within Golden: by default, Golden does not apply AI to your data in your environment or use personally identifiable or customer-specific data to train or improve AI models without your permission. Golden can be used as traditional software-as-a-service. Consistent with our original vision and pattern of evolution to date, we are excited to bring you the best-in-class tools to improve your work. You will see continuous improvements to the product, and users with authorized access will also see opportunities to activate optional AI services, which may include:

  • Curation of content and recommended actions
  • Automation of workflows and processes
  • Data validation and enrichment
  • Interactive support and enablement
  • Generative communications
  • Predictive analytics
  • Intelligent integrations with authorized third-party services
  • Safeguards to ensure fair usage and maintain platform security

Principles & Usage Guidance

Just as Golden has done internally, we invite you to define your own culture, guidelines, and ethics. Use AI to help yourself and others achieve their potential — focusing on holistic inclusion, not isolated optimization. To get to that point, consider the following principles:

  • Privacy-by-design, security, and strict compliance with all applicable regulations
  • Transparency and explainability in how AI systems operate and support decision-making
  • Managed training resources and system access controls
  • Fairness, non-discrimination, and user-centric permission settings
  • “Human-in-the-loop” accountability and oversight
  • Continuous observation of the outside world and internal monitoring and improvement
