Founded 2015
Golden was founded to make doing good effortless. In 2015, our founder, Sam Fankuchen, saw that outdated volunteer systems were creating barriers between people who wanted to help and the organizations that needed them. He launched Golden to connect volunteers with opportunities and enable organizers to find the help needed to fuel their mission.
As demand grew, so did our platform. Golden evolved into a comprehensive volunteer management solution built for nonprofits, governments, and socially responsible businesses. We automate scheduling, training, background checks, credentialing, and communications— freeing staff to focus on impact.
Today, Golden powers engagement for thousands of organizations from state agencies to global NGOs. Our technology makes it easy to track, match, and measure every volunteer interaction in real time.
